Company Experience
Since 1994, Whitecode Design Associates has undertaken a vast range of projects, varying from residential through to large commercial projects.
Housing Association Projects
Whitecode started life working for Laing Central design office carrying out designs for Partnership Housing. Once the central design office disbanded we continued to work directly for Laing Partnership Housing on the majority of their large Housing Association schemes. This included the regeneration scheme at Hackney, which included some 5000 units.
Recently Whitecode has been involved in a project for Community Housing Association (CHA), which was administered under the PPC 2000 contract. Whitecode has one further contract with CHA, which has been as a result of this project of one hundred units in Clerkenwell, and again is to be administered in PPC 2000.
A landmark development in Bermondsey using cutting edge energy efficient technology is Whitecode’s latest project under PPC 2000. This scheme will be designed to the highest thermal efficiency targets, a combined heat and power plant (CHP) ground water bore hole and solar panels.
Residential Projects
Whitecode is the leading Building Services Consultancy in the large residential and mixed use housing developments in the greater London area. Our schemes have included award winning projects such as Virginia Quay & Pier Head Lock in Docklands. As a practice we are currently working on many high rise schemes of residential apartment blocks requiring specialist design elements such as intermediate plant rooms and wet riser systems.
We are currently working on the Arsenal Football Club re-development of Islington, on one of the large residential projects required to regenerate the local area. This scheme (Lough Road East) is over 500 apartments in two 9 storey Section 20 buildings with a 2 level under ground car park with full mechanical ventilation.
Whitecode prides itself in its experience in Residential developments, with our employees experience being some 30 years and over. Our ability to design our systems to a Client’s needs and most importantly budget ensures a high client satisfaction.
