Managing Director
Keith Wisdom

Keith founded Whitecode Design Associates in 1994 after starting in the industry in 1964 as an apprentice.
He then progressed to become the Managing Director of a pre-fabricated heating/plumbing manufacturing company. During his manufacturing experience, he invented and patented many of the products in the industry that are currently used today. |
Keith is a fellow of the Institute of Domestic Heating Engineers (FIDHE) and is an affiliated member of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE). He has extensive knowledge of Building Control matters and British Standard requirements, smoke extract systems, ventilation requirements, sprinkler design, wet and dry risers and all other mechanical and electrical installations.
Keith is a well known and respected figure in the Building Services Industry.
Outside of the office Keith is typically found on a golf course, spending time with his family, watching Charlton Athletic or a combination of all three.
Keith has also been a member of the Rotary Club of Erith for over 25 years and has been integral to many of their fund raising initiatives in that time.

Technical Director
Alex Hill

In September 2000 Alex Hill graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Energy Engineering from South Bank University, whilst working with Whitecode.
He has worked on various building services projects including residential, commercial and refurbishments.
Alex also has an HND in Building Services Engineering. |
Alex has Chartered Engineer Status and is a Member of Chartered Institute of the Building Services Engineers (MCIBSE).
He is a committee member of the Home Counties North East region and is a founder member of the Young Engineers Group of CIBSE.
He is also a member of the National Engineering Specification Advisory Board, helping to write the Industry Standard Specification.
In 2001 Alex was made Technical Director at Whitecode, which involves the task of ensuring the design and technical standards of Whitecode are kept high using his university experience.
In 2007 Alex Hill qualified as a Low Carbon Consultant, and also specialises in all aspects of building services including sustainability.
Away from the office Alex is Company Sargeant Major of 103 Detachment, Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, part of 10 (Kent) Cadet regiment which is within South East London's Army cadet force.

Design Manager and Associate
David Spalding

Before joining Whitecode, David worked as a designer in the Planning Department of Berkeley Homes.
He then joined a structural engineering company as a CAD Designer before advancing his career by joining a pre-fabricated heating/plumbing manufacturing company with Keith Wisdom, progressing from Designer to Design Manager during a period of 7 years.

David joined Whitecode Design Associates in 1998 as a Design Engineer, progressed to Senior Design Engineer and more recently, Design Manager. In 2008 David became an Associate of Whitecode.
David has worked in countless projects with Whitecode, and is involved with liaising with clients, manufacturers and contractors on most major projects.
When not working David is family man first and foremost and also a West Ham United supporter who spends weekends coaching a local junior football team. He is also a keen angler.

Design Engineer and Associate
Harry Silo
Employee of Whitecode since 2003
Harry Silo joined Whitecode in 2003 and qualified with First Class Honours in his Degree in Building Services Engineering at South Bank University in July 2007. He has worked on various Building Services projects including residential, commercial and refurbishments.
Harry has recently qualified as a Low Carbon Consultant. He has also begun leading Whitecode’s sustainability department which will focus on the following:
- Sustainability reports,
- SAP assessments,
- Code for Sustainable Homes assessments,
- Energy Performance certificates,
- Part L2 Assessments for Commercial Buildings and
- Building Control assessments
Harry is also a registered NHER SAP assessor. Being a Level 5 energy assessor, means that he can model and certify complex buildings energy use.
Harry’s specialties also include CHP Sizing, renewables and sustainability
Outside the office Harry is a fitness fanatic and is often heard lecturing his colleagues on their posture and technique. Harry is also a keen drummer in a band and a lover of motorcycling.
