Albion Street, Rotherhithe is one of the latest developments Whitecode will be working on, providing its MEPH design consultancy services and construction support across RIBA Stages 3, 4 and 5 of developer Guildmore’s project.

Located on a former civic centre site, Albion Street will comprise 26 new apartments of which 14 will be social housing and 12 affordable dwellings. The first-floor will be a commercial space set within a part 4, part 5-storey building.

Testament to the design expertise, service and diligence of Whitecode’s team, Whitecode was recommended for this project by a previous client. Whitecode will be providing MEPH designs to RIBA Stages 3 and 4 and will also give construction support at Stage 5. All designs are being supplied in 3D for added depth and quality, and to ensure the designs translate onsite. Furthermore, vertical transport analysis is being carried out to enable access and easy movement within the building.

Other services that Whitecode will be providing include utilities and sustainability consultancy. In terms of utilities, Whitecode has been appointed to make applications for the necessary diversions and disconnections of existing equipment, and the permanent and temporary supplies.

On the Albion Street project, Whitecode’s sustainability team will perform a number of assessments and analyses including SAP/EPCs, SBEM, overheating analysis and BREEAM pre-assessment.

The presence of Whitecode’s MEPH designs, utilities and sustainability consultancy services will create an optimum environment for Albion Street’s future residents that will hit the mark when it comes to comfort.
