SAP Assessments

SAPs are required to prove compliance with Part L1A/L1B of the Building Regulations and an Energy Performance Certificate is a legal requirement when renting or selling a property.

Services Overview

The Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) was created by BRE (Building Research Establishment) to measure and calculate the energy performance of a dwelling. SAP provides a key framework for identifying a building’s energy performance, with the assessment carried out to showcase whether a dwelling complies.

SAP assessments are required to prove compliance with Part L1A/L1B of the Building Regulations. SAP assessments are based on construction materials and thermal insulation of the building fabric, ventilation, cooking, efficiency of heating systems, solar gains and renewable energy technologies.

Whitecode Consulting has been carrying out SAP assessments for over a decade across a wide range of developments and is well-equipped to provide advice on SAP assessments from early stage to completion. Our team of qualified experts means we are able to work with the client to ensure the best outcome is achieved to meet compliance.
